In China, Huawei also introduced its new mid-range smartphone – the Nova 6 SE, together with its brothers Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G.

The Huawei Nova 6 SE works as a toned-down variant of the Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G. Still, it is packed with trendy features and powerful specs that made it a strong contender at its price point.

The Nova 6 SE sports a 6.4-inch hole-punch display that has FHD+ 2310 x 1080 resolution. Under the hood, Huawei armed it with a Kirin 810 processor, Mali-G52 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. It can also accompany users throughout the day, as it is juiced with a large 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W SuperCharge solution.

Moving on to its photography section, Huawei equipped it with a quad-rear camera setup, consisting of a 48-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, it is mounted with a 16-megapixel snapper.

In China, the Huawei Nova 6 SE will be available for the price of CNY 2,199 (~Php15.9K) starting December 25, 2019.

Meanwhile, there’s no word yet about its availability and pricing in the Philippines.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Max is touted as a gaming smartphone, we believed mainly because of its gigantic battery capacity, which is a 6000mAh! Such large battery size is not new in the market, in fact, CM had several phones with huge batteries, but it is still quite rare these days. That said, we are wondering how heavy this phone is, we bet it would be over 200 grams.

But, it is not just the battery that is big for the Flare S8 Max, its screen size is pretty enormous too, which measures 7 inches diagonally and has Full HD+ resolution. This is the size that tablets are used to have back in the days.

As for the workhorse running inside this handset, it is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 chipset, which is the same thing inside the Flare S8 Prime, which has an octa-core CPU clocked at 2GHz each and ARM Mali-G71MP2 as its graphics processing unit. This is further complemented by the 4GB of RAM to handle multitasking and 64GB of onboard storage for keeping files and apps. It also runs on the Android 9 Pie, which is the common OS on Android phones in circulation today.

In terms of photography capabilities, it has a dual rear camera setup composed of the main 16MP module plus a 2MP sensor for depth sensing. Meanwhile, a 13MP is mounted in the front for taking selfies and video calls.

    During the OPPO INNO DAY 2019 in China, OPPO teased the arrival of the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro 5G. The Chinese mobile maker didn’t reveal much info about the devices, but it hinted enough details to determine what we can expect from the two smartphones. In fact, the company has launched its official pre-order page, which contains some of its key specs.

    Let’s talk about the Reno3. Similar to other smartphones today, the Reno3 appears to sport a 3D curved glass back that will be available in Blue and Green gradient colorway. For its display, we can expect that it will sport an AMOLED screen and a tiny notch. On the other hand, its render didn’t show some physical fingerprint sensor, suggesting that it might boast an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Unlike other televisions that require users a few pushes of the buttons on the remote to have their preferred settings, the A&S 49-inch LED Full HD TV makes tweaking of its settings easy and convenient.

    Using its remote control (which does not come with free batteries, so better have 2 AAA ready), one can already adjust the television’s settings according to their preferences, including the TV’s picture mode, brightness, contrast, and sharpness. In tweaking the TV’s saturation, users can have it more detailed as the A&S 49-inch LED Full HD TV is allowed to change its hue levels, color temperature, as well as its aspect ratio.

    Aside from this, users can also adjust the TV’s sound and channel properties. The TV also has a lock option in case kids aren’t allowed to watch a certain channel on the TV.

The sound that the TV produce appears cranky especially on high volumes, but this is a feature that can easily be solved by attaching a soundbar, which by the way is also A&S main product line.

    The A&S 49-inch LED Full HD TV runs on 65W of power consumption which can be further reduced as the television comes with its own power-saving feature.
