Gionee M6S Plus with 6GB RAM and 6020mAh Battery Set for an April 24 Launch

The invites have reached the guests. In six days, Gionee is going to officially unveil its latest M6S Plus smartphone in Beijing, China.

Gionee has started sending out invites (as pictured above) for the launch of its latest M6S Plus device on April 24, Monday. Prior to the launch, though, the device already made a visit at TENAA.

According to the listing, the M6S Plus will sport a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. It will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, although no specific chipset yet, with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

In terms of camera, it will be equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. What's super cool about this device, however, is its large 6020mAh non-removable battery. The M series is known for boasting large battery capacities, anyway, and the M6S Plus is no exception.

Gionee's latest device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Amigo UI on top. It would have been great if it will run on Nougat, though. Based on the invite, surely it will come with a fingerprint scanner.

We'll give you the complete specs of the Gionee M6S Plus, as well as its pricing, once it goes official on April 24.
