Although the retail names of the new Nokia smartphones haven't been officially confirmed yet, sources tipped that they will be top mid-rangers sporting Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 chipsets.

Also, aside from the similarity in processors, both of the new Nokia devices might sport a metallic body design. They are also expected to come with thinner bezels along with a new unibody frame. They'll most likely run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, as well.
In addition, both the Nokia 7 and 8 will feature Fast Charging, fingerprint scanners, and bigger and enhanced sensors with the Nokia 8 allegedly featuring Carl-Zeiss optics. The camera design might also change, with a different back design.
