It’s official! Acer is bringing the Asia-Pacific Predator League in the Philippines in 2020.

During the closing ceremony of this year’s tournament, the company has announced that Philippines will host next year’s eSports tournament.

“Especially in the Pan Asia-Pacific Region, Acer provides a stage for young eSports athletes to display their gaming talents not only through exceptional hardware but also through the eco-system and industry,” Andrew Hou, President of Pan Asia-Pacific Regional Operations, Acer Inc., addressed. “We hope that the athletes this year keep on as active members of the eSports community, and we will be glad to play with them again in 2020 in the Philippines.”

Meanwhile, the 2019 Asia-Pacific Predator League was concluded last February 17 after 3 thrilling days of PUBG and DOTA2 championship rounds. Over 10,000 fans gathered as well at the Nimibutr National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In case you missed it, Team AfreecaFreecs Fatal from The Republic of Korea won the tournament for PUBG, while TNC Predator from the Philippines emerged as the winner of DOTA2. Both teams brought home USD 75,000 prize money, and Predator Helios Notebooks for each of the team members.
