PayMaya users now have a new way of adding money to their accounts via InstaPay and its partner banks. This makes adding money more accessible as there are more options.
PayMaya account holders can now easily transfer up to PHP 50,000 from their banks through InstaPay. This all happens in real time without any delays, anytime and any day of the week.
InstaPay opens up the PayMaya add money function to depositors of Asia United Bank, BDO, China Bank, Chinabank Savings, Equicom Savings Bank, Security Bank and UnionBank. In the near future, they promise to add more bank and non-bank partners as they get accreditation from the BSP. PayMaya is one of the first two Electronic Money Issuers in the country that is able to receive funds seamlessly from these banks nationwide.

Sending money to your PayMaya account via Instapay is quite easy. Bank account holders just need to follow the following steps:
1. Log on to their bank's mobile app
2. Find the InstaPay option.
3. Enter the transaction details such as the PayMaya mobile number and the amount they want to transfer.
InstaPay is a project led by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas under the National Retail Payments System framework. It aims to further improve the digital financial transaction in the country with a goal of reaching a share of digital transactions by 20% by 2020.
Aside from InstaPay, PayMaya account holders may now also add money to their accounts via the online bill payment facilities of Unionbank, RCBC, BDO and more. You can also use one of the more than 15,000 Add Money touch points nationwide. These are found in 7-Eleven Branches, SM Business Centers, Robinson's Business Centers, Department Stores, Touchpay Kiosks, UnionBank ATMs, Shopwise, Wellcome, 2Go, ExpressPay, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop branches and Smart Padala centers.
