Filipinos are set to witness Taiwan’s latest innovations at the upcoming Taiwan Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions for Smart Living Forum, happening at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on September 30.
Organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the forum is supported by the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade and Ministry of Economic Affairs. It eyes to showcase the country’s best tech brands’ IoT solutions that elevate workflows and processes in various industries.
The forum will be graced by Acer Philippines, Inc, Ropali-Teco Corporation, Taiwan Main Orthropaedic Biotechnology Co., Ltd, and VIVOTEK Inc.
VIVOTEK is expected to display their latest stereo network camera, the SC8131. This solution helps business owners to generate data by tracking numbers of people and their flow paths.
Another smart retail application is the Acer Being Signage. This accompanies retailers from consultation to operation, or the entire digital marketing process itself. It comes with software that utilizes cloud-based video analytics solution for creating, delivering, and monitoring digital campaigns.
Meanwhile, Main Orthropaedic Biotechnology Co. Ltd. will talk about their wearable glasses designed to enhance surgeons’ performance, and to upgrade orthopedic procedures, as well. The precursory medical glasses were made using mixed technology and calculation camera image positioning technology.
On the other hand, Ropali-Teco Corporation will showcase their advances in electronic vehicles. The electronic vehicles operate a 2.3 kilowatt electric motor and have a 20% climbing capacity for sloping paths.
