| Motorola Moto X4 Introduced At IFA Berlin; IP68-Certified Android Nougat with Dual Rear Cameras |
Lenovo's sub-brand Motorola, just unveiled a mid-premium tweener phone in the form of the Moto X4. It has a dual camera setup, Snapdragon 630 chipset, and an IP68 rating to boot. Let's take a deeper look!
The Moto X4 will not blow you away with its specs, but it is certainly impressive. It has an octa core Qualcomm processor with Adreno 506 graphics, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable memory and a 3000mAh battery that has a 15W fast charging capability. Definitely a mid range phone specs-wise, however, build quality is another story.
Motorola chose to make the Moto X4 to have a glass back, making it feel really premium. It also has an IP68 rating, which make it waterproof and dustproof, a big advantage over other mid-rangers in the market.

The dual camera setup shows promise as well. It has a 12MP f/2.0 with Dual Pixel technology plus an 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra wide angle lens. It also has a dual-tone LED flash as well. Phase detection is also present here for faster auto focus. We all know that the Dual Pixel tech worked well with other flagships so we can expect the same results here. The front camera has a 16 MP f/2.0 lens with an LED flash.
The display is a 5.2" LTPS IPS panel with FHD resolution and unspecified Gorilla Glass variant for added protection. The Moto X4 can accommodate either a single or two SIM cards, with the latter most likely to arrive in the Philippines. Other things are LTE capability, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.0.
Moto X4 ships with Android Nougat out of the box with Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa integrated.
